R UR BRAIDS 2 TIGHT?

If you have a headache after getting your hair braided, it's too much stress on the hair and scalp. Better yet, you can figure this out while you are in a hairstylist chair. If you have to squint or close your eyes really tight for each braid tell him/her to ease up.  Why would you sit there and go through the torture? I know many people who had to take their braids out after getting home because they couldn't tolerate the pain anymore.  Wasted time and money for pain.  Say something in the beginning to avoid the problem later.https://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/hairdroncall

Don't Take Your Hair for Granted!

Yes our hair is our glory! It is a very essential part of who we are.  Just think about it...why is it positioned at the top of our heads, like a crown?  It is the crown that covers the most important part of our being, our minds, where creation/imagination/dreams occur. So take care of it. https://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/hairdroncall

Hair Extremes, What Does it Mean!

Why do some women go through hair extremes? What I mean is they will cut off all their hair one week. Then, the next week, better yet, the next few days, they have a weave that's unbelievable. Don't get me wrong, although I don't feel women should cut their hair as short as a man, a beautiful feminine haircut looks Fab. If you are in a committed relationship, it would be ideal to wear hairstyles your companion likes. I'm just saying...he's going to admire it on someone else, so why not let it be you.

Being that all truth is parallel, it would be that women who go through such extremes are showing an external dissatisfaction and/or indecisiveness that is going on within. It's tight, but it's right. Trust me, I've been through it. But I've come out when I really begin to love myself and appreciate who the Most High has created me to be, hair and all. I've been natural (no relaxer nor color) now for about 7yrs. Because my hair is weather sensitive, I do sometimes wear hair pieces just in case.

Get the Right Weave!

Some women think, "if I've seen one hair weave I've seen them all". That's not true. There are many textures of weaves to suit your fancy. Buying the right hair can be costly, depending on the length of time you would like to keep the hairstyle, but it's worth it. You get what you pay for just like anything else. Cheep hair will not last long, it tangles very easily and is hard to manage. So, don't be cheap when it comes to looking good. There is nothing worse than a bad hair weave.

When Your Hair is Fab, You Feel Fabulous!

There is something about us women and our hair! We don't feel complete taking a step outside unless our hair is Fab. I've had days that I had to leave and my hair just wasn't working. I felt awkward the entire day. But when my hair is Fab, I am bold, confident and daring. I know all women will agree. I did learn my lesson, that no matter how tired I am the night before, I will treat myself to a Fab style without leaving my home because I do it myself. So when I awake, I feel great because doing my hair isn't on the agenda for morning preparation.

Do What Works for You!

I have no problem with women who relax, weave, color, etc. their hair. Whatever you do, make sure it's FABULOUS! The most important thing is the health of your hair. Alternate conditioners: moisturizing & protein. Get regular trims, at least every 6 weeks according to a certain time each month. Be versatile with your styles. For example, wearing a side part in the same place for long periods of time will begin to thin that area. So, switch up. Give your hair a rest from lace wigs, weaves or extensions. Thinning edges are not attractive at all.
